I almost forgot that today was Monday, still being in the long weekend jewelry making mode.
But here it is, Monday, another week, another sunrise, another gypsy sky.
Another September.
The anemones are ready to bloom, their fuzzy little buds bobbling in the breeze.
Summer passes with the feeling that there is never enough time.
But, there is now.
Today.
And that is always enough.

Wishing you a week filled with smiles.

I (quite literally) live in a forest of kisses (this plant is called Kiss Me Over the Garden Gate). And I finally got some photos I am happy with and that is making me smile. (I know, I am easily amused.) The one below made me smile big, I hadn’t noticed the bees until I loaded the photos onto my computer:

It will be a long weekend filled with jewelry making, and I will be outside as much as possible. Because, you know, I live in a forest of kisses. And when that is the case, you are obligated to be present and appreciative, right?
Right.
So there you have it.
.
Wishing you a weekend filled with sunshine and, of course, kisses.

Summer is winding down, flowers are fading, leaves are changing ever-so-slightly.
The month of August was simply perfect weather-wise, though if you were to ask the cucumbers and tomatoes, they might say “brrrr.” And so, fewer tomatoes than usual. Not enough cucumbers for making pickles. Sigh.
But the black-eyed susans had a banner year, as did the Kiss Me Over the Garden Gate. I swear I have a forest of it out there, towering over my head and making me smile. I’ve yet to take a picture that shows it off properly, though I keep trying.
Life is a flurry of activity and I am a busy bee with graphics work, a new photo technique class, and jewelry creating.
Let’s hope that in the end, I’ve made some honey.
.
Wishing you a week filled with sweetness.

Here are just a few of the lovely bracelets I’ve been working on for our upcoming show, the Clothesline Arts Festival. I don’t know why exactly, but bracelets have always been my favorite pieces to make, and I’m pretty much in love with all of these.
It was another beautiful weekend, with perfect weather to sit outside and create, and that is exactly what I did all day Saturday. So these are all made with love and sunshine built right in.
On Sunday, we had a little birthday party for my 87-year-old friend. 87! I hope I can still be as feisty and filled with life when I am that age.
So here’s to birthdays, and bracelets, and beauty.

Wishing you a week filled with light.

Summer is winding down as we gear up for our
first jewelry show of the season. There has been
lots of jewelry making time under the big blue sky,
the weather has been absolutely gorgeous lately.
Here’s hoping it lasts through the show!
