heading south
It’s that time of year, change in the air, and some of my bird friends
have a long journey before them.
It has been chilly, chilly here already, down into the 40s
at night already a couple of times.
(I had to break out the socks!)
We drove to our cabin the other night up in the hills,
and the leaves have already begun to change.
Change is the one thing we can always count on, right?
I like that.

I had to laugh at the mention of socks, because I had to rummage around for a pair yesterday too. My poor tootsies were frozen.
