well, hello my little chickadee…
My husband was really sweet and bought me a zoom lens for Christmas.
I am still figuring out how to work it, but this was my best attempt so far.
Aren’t chickadees just the cutest bird?
I plan to spend the weekend catching up and relaxing,
kind of an oxymoron, but you know what I mean.
It’s cold…single digit cold.
I’ll have to be sure to put some extra food out for these little guys,
they will need to eat a lot to keep warm.
Just like me.

Catching up & relaxing, yup, sounds about right. I am also taking some time for just breathing. Weird how hard that can be.

What a cutie! When I was little, there was a pair of chickadees who lived in the attic of my next door neighbor’s house. My brother and I loved to watch them, and we named them Oodalally (the boy) and Day (the girl). =)
Not sure what we’re doing this weekend… probably just taking it easy.

Oh yes. They are my favorites. I cannot seem to lure any to my feeder though. I used to see tons of them out in the country but there don’t seem to be any here in the city. I love listening to their sweet calls.
