simple things
making me smile…
three sections of garden put back in order
three solid days of sunshine in which to do it
staying up very late to finish a book
clearing space, in my garden, in my head, in my life
sundresses and songs from long ago
a hummingbird in the house and then back out
morning tea with my back to the still-messy beds
vegetables planted and growing
a sense of slowly coming home
contentment

What is making you happy is making me happy just reading about it!

I cannot express how much I needed a dose of your poetry this morning – a healing elixir served with a spoonful of beauty. You always remind me what it is to live well. With gratitude…
