grateful for…

the smell of frost in the morning

warm socks to cover my toes

the exhaustion of a job well done

a windowsill glowing with sunlight

oatmeal and bananas for breakfast

two hours to fill as i please

this perfect, steaming cup of tea

those who have served

and you.

I love your gratitude…and I can hear how deeply grateful you are to each of those things you’ve listed. And I love your photograph — it fills me with peace. I wish I was going to be in your area this weekend…I would love to pop in and see you. You’re not that far but my weekend is spoken for. Wishing you all the best!!!

These days I’m grateful for fires that warm the hearth, purring cats, bright maple leaves, and my baby girl (who is starting to get on a nap schedule at last!). Good luck and take care during this busy season.
