JEWELRY

a different perspective

sometimes you have to look at things from all angles.

sometimes the best approach makes the least amount of sense.

sometimes the back is more interesting than the front.

sometimes old is better than new.

sometimes withered is a state of mind.

sometimes light is precious.

sometimes all the opening happens at the end.

As a child I would lie handing upside down off the edge of the sofa and imagine what it would be like to walk on the ceiling. Every so often I remember that childlike wonder of looking at things from an unsual perspective and am always blown away at how it opens my mind.

Kelly, I felt that one so much that I had to copy and paste it all into a Word doc to punch with 3 holes and put someplace. Also sharing it with two girlfriends today. Inspiration !!! Really lovely.

Such wise words today, with a lovely and soft photo… I will take it in my heart

erm, were you inside my noggin this morning by chance?
i was looking out at the huge, sculpted overhangs of snow on the sheds … hanging on for dear life … presenting these lovely lines against the building … and i wondered what kind of image i might see if i was standing ‘under’ the eave, looking up at the edge …
and then i was thinking i like the word ‘curious’ and how curious we are behind our camera lens to see from yet another angle …
and here you are, kelly … seeing and expressing so perfectly how i was feeling!
and wowzer … i so love how you see the glory in this side of the still beautiful, fading tulip …
    fabulous artistry!
sending a mile of smiles ~
    xoxo

Just beautiful. Love the softness. It looks like it’s bowing! And the words are so true!
