JEWELRY

one tired tulip

I feel just like this bloom that has decided to rest
its weary head on the windowsill.

What a week.

But there is a bit of sunshine.

The air outside is beginning to smell of spring.

And even in its exhaustion, this flower is reaching for the light.

Lovely. Yesterday we were treated with a spring tease but today Mr. Winter is reminding us that he not done yet.

We’ve had a rough day here. Horrible wind but luckily no big trees down. We did lose that sweet widow’s walk on the top of the house, however. But we are ok!

one of very favorite things about tulips is that they are not shy at all about reaching for the light. they know what they need. teachers, methinks.

The flower looks the way I feel this week 🙂
