So many beautiful giveaways you’re doing this month, so generous. It rained all night but the sun came out this morning for a brief period and now the winds are picking up mirroring my own restlessness.

We are getting snowed on again as well – sounds like it will last all weekend.

I was on my way to get the snow blower out when I realized my neighbor was just finishing my driveway – what a wonderful gift.

I love purple. It isn’t quiet or shy–it gives us permission to live out loud. I also love your work. I loved reading about the beginning of your love affair with words as a 13-year-old in Artful Blogging magazine. You are truly an inspiration. I have been writing ever since I can remember but have always felt a pull toward photography as well. I love the way you look at the world. I’ll continue to follow you on your path.

I found your website by accident, as so many important things in my life. I was browsing through magazines at my favorite bookstore, one of my- lately very common-blue days, when I discovered “Artful Blogging”, by Somerset Studio. I felt in love immediately and, at home, I soon discovered another love: your blog. I read the article about you and felt instantly connected to you, to your search of your path, to the way you look at things, to the need to be surrounded to beauty and the pleasure to show that beauty to us, lucky people who look at The Blue Muse.
Thank you Kelly, for you have reminded me how important it is to be ourselves and to thank Life for the beautiful details that embrace us.
By the way, blue has been my favorite color since I was a kid…And I added purple to the list many years ago, when I started the quest of myself 😉
And, just for your information: the weather in Dallas, TX is absolutely awesome; bright blue sky and warm and sunny temperature 🙂
    Have an inspiring weekend!

the weather today? well, crunchy! took the dog for his walk and the sidewalks had maybe a 1/2 inch snow with a crust on top from last night’s drizzle. Cold.

  • Becky February 28, 2011 at 11:23 am
