JEWELRY

goodbye july

I loved you well.

Our time was short, but ever-so-sweet

and I will always have fond memories

of your smile.

I am off today to learn how to make pickles.
(Sticking with that old-fashioned thing.)
I’ll be sharing about it here, or over at mrs. mediocrity, soon

Oooh have fun with the pickles, the months seem to be racing by this year.

I almost cried when I saw your post title. I passed a school the other day, the sign out front reading “1st day of school – August 23” and I DID cry. I am not ashamed to admit it. Summer swims by too quickly.

Something so sad about the end of July. I’d like to think that we still have half of summer left to go..but somehow it always feels like half the summer has gone by. Wonderful dreamy image!
