peeling back the layers

can leaving you feeling

open, exposed, raw,

vulnerable.

but you find fresh ideas

just under those layers,

new ways of looking

at the world.

::

this world that

sometimes,

breaks my heart.

::

i’ll just keep peeling

till i get past

the broken bits.

    Broken bits often respond well to healing. Raw and exposed is often of extreme discomfort to me too. Though something I’d do again, in retrospect.
