JEWELRY

leaves will fall

as winter fades to spring

hangers-on will be forced to let go,

making room for new growth

fresh color,

life.

::

i’ve been spending time in my studio

doing much the same,

tossing papers, sorting, filing, rearranging.

making space for new thoughts, ideas,

designs, words.

::

january was a month of rest

rejuvenation

contemplation.

where to go from here?

::

so many things

float through my mind,

not gently as a leaf that finally

drops to earth of its own accord,

but more as a whirlwind

of activity on a blustery day.

::

but for today

i hang on

enjoy the view,

breathe in the scent of snow

and simple

as all that growing

happens just

below the surface.

Well said. Always well said…

Love this. wrote a very similar post early this morning for my blog. I like to think of January/February as the preparation for the celebration of the birthing of new ideas and adventures.

I could use some of your energy right now. Had to catch up with 6 months of receipts that I’d let get out of control the other day . . . it was an ordeal.

Wonderfully written and beautifully captured.

Gorgeous photo! Nice texture work!

Beautifully written and a wonderful photograph.

Love your writing! Oh if I could write that well and your photo and texturing is stunning!

very simply put…

just lovely…

there always seems an abundance to ‘let go’ no matter how much we have already purged…

thanks for your poignant thoughts

such a beautiful photo and post!

So much going on, I love the energy…It almost feels as you could see Spring coming soon from under the snow 🙂

welcome
