hope is always there

just above your head

singing its song

and waiting patiently

for you to notice.

I found this print recently at an antique store (I don’t know
who originally painted it) and I fell in love with it, and even though
I have no space on my walls for pictures of anything,
I bought her anyway and brought her home
and now she sits on a shelf in my studio
and I look at her, everyday, and all I see is hope.
I think I made the right choice, don’t you?

I love it!

I told you that picture was for you didn’t I?

Oh..I can see how she reminds you of hope. What a nice thing to have for yourself in your space!!!

of course you did. it’s beautiful.

absolutely you did! if you look at her each day and she offers hope– yes!!

the perfect find — very inspirational indeed:)

oh good lord, yes. last year, my daughter and i went to this huge antique collective thingie, and as we zipped along the aisles, i spied this print sitting on the floor behind some things. i stopped cold, reached down, and pulled out an old print that hands in my studio and gives me pause and pleasure every single time my eyes fall on its countenance.

i don’t know why i can’t see the picture, but i can’t. i’ll try again another time.

oh, you did … you definitely did make the right choice …
i think she belongs with you …
on your shelf …
in your studio …
to bring you a smile …
to bring you more moments of musing …
