Oh what a beautiful beautiful necklace – i am crossing fingers. It’s hard to choose a favorite day of the summer but maybe the day we all piled into the car to leave for our annual week in Cape Cod – the expectation of a week together by the sea and the excitement of the kids.

love the piece!

The necklace is lovely. If I close my eyes and wish hard enough, could it be mine? I hope so!
My favorite day of summer was getting the chance to see a red-tailed hawk up close. It landed in a tree across the creek and I stood there for a while lamenting the fact that I’d left my glasses at home, I was about to give up, when it flew to a nearby tree only a few feet away where I was able to watch until it flew away. Sunlight on his wingtips. Moments like that, I feel very blessed.

My favorite day so far has been when the heatwave finally broke one day last week. We’ve been in the 100s since May. No garden this year. Everything died. It’s been brutal, and I usually love summer…my favorite season.

Love that necklace…
